From design kickoff to completion, most rooftop and deck projects take 8 to 14 weeks. Simpler patios can be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. We provide a detailed timeline after the initial site visit.
What materials do you recommend for rooftops?+
We favor ipe and other dense hardwoods for durability and low maintenance, along with powder-coated steel and aluminum for structural elements. All installations include proper drainage, waterproofing, and thermal movement detailing.
Do you handle permits and engineering?+
Yes. We manage the entire process — DOB filings, structural engineering where required, and coordination with building management for co-ops and condos in New York City.
What is the investment range?+
Projects typically begin at $45,000 for a modest ground-level patio and range upward depending on scope, structural requirements, and material choices. We provide transparent pricing after the site assessment.
How do you maintain the work after installation?+
We provide a written care guide for every project and offer annual maintenance visits. Hardwood decks benefit from a light cleaning and oiling once a year; stone and porcelain require almost none.
